AFCEA Belvoir Industry Day Featuring PEO EIS
Introduction
The Armed Forces Communications and Electronics Association – Belvoir Chapter along with the Federal Business Council, co-host the 6th Annual AFCEA Belvoir Industry Day Featuring PEO EIS to inform the IT community about the recent successes and the forward-thinking opportunities that the Department of Defense and the Department of the Army have asked PEO EIS to develop.
At Industry Day 2008, Program, Product and Project Managers from PEO EIS will avail themselves to industry officials and in a synergistic manner, collaborate to make intelligent partnerships for the way ahead. Small group discussion opportunities will be available.
The Enterprise Information Systems have gone through significant changes during 2007 leading into the 2008 fiscal year, specifically with the retirement of the Program Executive Officer, Mr. Kevin Carroll. We have selected "Transition to the Future" as the theme for the 2008 event to discuss how PEO EIS will grow towards the future.
This year's event will be held at the brand new Gaylord National Hotel, in National Harbor, MD. This multi-million dollar hotel is opening in April 2008, and Industry Day 2008 will be one of the hotel's very first groups in-house. At the 2007 event, we were pleased to see over 850 attendees and approximately 150 exhibitors.
